How does acupuncture benefit sinus problems? Acupuncture points are chosen based on your Chinese diagnosis. There is a special correlation between the nose and the Lung in Chinese medicine, so often times a sinus problem will be diagnosed as a Lung pattern such as Lung Qi Deficiency, or an External Pathogenic Factor attacking the Lung (in the case of a cold or flu). i dont know but i heard its good It releases sinus pressure and causes the blocked sinus to flow. It helps control how the mucus flows, and corrects it. I had some herbs that I had to take afterwords. It helped me quite a bit when western medicine couldn't. I'd also recommend a Neti pot. Those things help a lot but are terribly uncomfortable. |
