Does it make sense to get an hemorrhage after an acupuncture treatment- (a purple color stain)?

Any time you puncture the skin, you are going to rupture capillary beds and blood is going to spill into the surrounding tissue (a bruise).

It is very possible to have a minor bruise where one of the needles was inserted.
