Anyone who does acupuncture--Do u find it works for u?

I have received it and had success as a patient of accupuncture. I also used it on my dog whom i found as a stray puppy and rehabilitated her from a fractured spine. I chose to take her for accupuncture insead of $2500. worth of surgery that risked killing her or making her worse.

That was 12 years ago and she is still strong and healthy. the accupuncture really helped her manage the pain and accelerated the healing of the bones and reduced the swelling in the nerves.

As a Reiki Master I have worked in tandem with an accupuncturist for 6 years and find that the combination of the two modalities works wonders.

I practice acupressure and Reiki. Acupressure is the same as acupuncture. The only difference is in the 1st case you e.g. use your hands or elbows; in the 2d case you use needles but both work on very specific points on your body, points related to your meridiens.
Yes, it does work. I treat myself and family/friends. Most of them, if not all of them, are real sceptics but they agree that it works. In some instances, you can immediately see the results.
e.g. In case of migraine, if done properly, an acupressure treatment of about 20 minutes will cure you of it.
If your pain is related to your back you'll need to consider checking your posture because you may get treatment but, if you do not correct your posture, the aches will come back.
I agree with Michelle : in conjunction with Reiki it does wonders.

It's effective for a lot of things, I have used it for many years. But don't expect anyone here who is schooled in american medicine to endorse it.

It even works for someone who has been paralyzed by a stroke. One doctor I went to documented what he did to help this one patient who was in a wheelchair, after wards he could walk again.

And the other day at another place I go to
AMU university acupuncture (located in Alhambra, calif) they told me the same thing, one of the staff had a stroke and could not move her arm, now she's able to move her arm & hands.

Acupuncture works well. but forgo the new age baggage attached to it. Try to find a acupuncturist that is not into new age voodoo but rather put your best interest and the creator interest first and foremost.
