Chinese acupuncture? |
hello, i have recently been feeling like my mother is trying to "improve" me and she said she wants to take me to this place which does Chinese acupuncture. I am wondering what they do to people. Is it just sticking needles in their backs? I heard something about herbs too. Could someone please tell me what they do to people? Thank you so much. Acupuncture involves the insertion of sterilized stainless steel needles into various points throughout the body. In the United States, the great majority of acupuncturists use "one-time use" needles, meaning they come pre-sterilized and are used only one time on you before being disposed of. my dad wen tto a place like that but nothing helped. its cycologigal. if you think it works , it does... in your head... get it? Its awesum ..go for it..You will be amazed at how it is painless yet cures what ales ya. Well, most of the time it is with needles. First off..what's wrong with you? They need to assess you and determine what's wrong by feeling your pulse and looking at your tongue and some other anatomy of yours. Then, they will decide if you need acupuncture..mind you, you need to pay for the needles as they would be yours to use when you visit again. Sometimes they use electric current attached to those needles to kinda stimulate them. Herbs? Yeah, sometimes they prescribe them to you... They will insert tiny needles in specific parts of your body that are theorized to help get you back into balance. Acupuncture is part of the huge realm of Chinese medicine, which involves many herbals and other methods of healing. If you tell them how you are feeling, they will probably make suggestions, and you can try these to see if your symptoms improve. it depends I went to acupuncture when I was like 7 or 8. They basically just stick needles in specific points (no idea how they figure out what those points are). Sometimes they use strange incense which is very warm and they rest it at specific places on you. They use disposable needles. It doesn't really hurt at all, but I used to cry anyway because I was little and they were sticking needles in my face... slightly terrifying right. |
