Anyone used acupuncture to treat anxiety?

I'm considering it at the moment. Have tried tablets and counselling but they didn't really help, so was thinking of trying something different. I realise that it's different for everyone, but has anyone tried it - did you find it helpful? Also, I've been quoted 拢40 for the first session (1hr15mins), 拢32 for other sessions (45 mins). I think this seems reasonable, do others agree?

ive been going for 8 months and hve seen a improvement-- stick with the therapy though and if you can find a group therapy this will help the most.

Seems to me the prospect of someone sticking sharp needles into your scan might increase your anxiety.

That being said, there is no high quality evidence that acupuncture does anything other than activate the placebo response.
If you think that amount of money is a good deal for basically tricking your body into temporarily relaxing is a good deal, then go for it.

A lot of money for a lot of quackery.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can be very effective at lowering anxiety levels.

Cost of treatment varies greatly on location, but those numbers don't look unreasonable.

I suggest e-mailing Dr Sluce, on sluce@hotmail.com

She's so helpful and ready to hear your problems.

Say the passcode " Backy&Bob " to her

She will understand! Gud luck x No need to thank me !
