ACUPUNCTURE and lymphatic drainage treatment for TTC???

Has anyone tried this and gotten pregnant naturally! I have my first session tonight!!

Both of my tubes are blocked! I am willing to try anything! I plan to start IVF in 4 or 5 months if this does not help!!!

Hi Angie,

I'll tell you what... I didn't use acupuncture, but I am seeing a chiropractor who does holistic work. What he does is practice muscle balancing, which is a nice way of saying painful massages that break up adhesions and/or improve blood flow to certain organs; thus improving their overall function and health. I'm seeing him for my reproductive organs. These "massages" are not for wienies! He literally manipulates these muscles and vertebrae that influence important organs.

My first HSG report showed 2 completely blocked tubes and problems with my uterus. My Day 3 blood tests showed an FSH of 11.6 and a TSH (thyroid) of 5.33.

My second HSG after a few treatments showed both tubes completely OPEN and my uterus in much better shape. My bloodwork showed my TSH level went down to 3.88 and my FSH was 11.2. They like to see a TSH of 3 or less for optimum fertility, so we're still working on that and my FSH. But I'm thrilled about the progress so far! It's unbelievable.

So what's my opinion?? DO IT!! I don't know if the acupuncture will unblock your tubes but it will definitely improve your overall reproductive health.

My doctor also said my only chance at first was IVF, but with these new tests, we are moving forward so that I can get pregnant naturally. This is my first cycle with my open tubes, so wish me luck!!

Fertility Friend is an online website that offers a program that you can use to chart your basal body temperatures as well as offers LOTS of support to women with fertility issues. There are support groups where women exchange ideas and support each other in their TTC journeys. You may want to look into it. There are support groups there with women who are using acupuncture and other holistic healing methods to improve their chances of pregnancy.

Good luck to you!

I've heard very good things about this, and also reflexology. Have a great session!!!
