Acupuncture for inducing labor? |
I am 5 days over due and getting medically induced in tow days. I really don't wanna have to get induced medically. Has anyone tried acupuncture and did it work? How long did it take I haven't tried acupuncture, but there's an accupressure point either side of your achilles tendon in your heel just at the back of your ankle bone. If you have mild contractions like Braxton Hicks, pressing there hard is meant to bring on labour. It didn't work for me, and neither did the midwife using evening primrose oil capsules as vaginal suppositories. Driving over potholes didn't work, nor did jogging or eating curry. In the end, I went into labour at 42 weeks pregnant. Good luck, I know how miserable it is. it is supposed to help but may not work on all women.. if u relli dnt want to be mediacalli induced then give it a try, it may work it may not but thats the risk u got to take!!!! especialli if ur baby is relli stubborn!! |
