Can acupuncture help my lower back pains?

thanks

It depends on the cause of your pains. Some causes respond well to acupuncture. For others it's a waste of time and money.

If you try it, don't bother to continue if after 3 sessions you notice no improvement at all. After 3 sessions you must at least feel a little bit of improvement to have a reason to continue.

All the best

Yes, it helped mine. It's good for pain management without drugs. It didn't resolve the back pain (I needed to herbal tonic for that) but also the principals of chinese medicine have helped a lot. They say lower back pain is related to kidney/adrenal function and so boosting that with ginseng actually helped me more than the acupuncture itself in the long term (it also helped me exercise longer and more intensely).

Just make sure you only take it in the AM, or else it could keep you up at night.

I will give you a quick testimonial regarding acupuncture. I was suffering from the worst anxiety for 5 years. I could not leave the house and was dependent on my husband the whole time. I saw an acupuncture who cured me within a few weeks. I was finally able to see my friends and family again without axiety. This is the God's honest truth.

I am now going back for body pain that I have had most my life. It is a bit of a slower process because of having the pain for so long. However, I am definitely noticing less pain.

I was totally skeptic about going, but to my surprise it DID work for me. Also, my insurance picked up 80 percent of this. If they felt acupuncture was not the real thing, they would not have paid a dime.

If you are interested, try to go with an open mind. Very good chance that it will work for your back. Also, from what I hear, it takes a less time than if you went to a chiropractor. Good Luck and give it a try. What do you have to lose accept possibly your back pain!
