Acupuncture? |
My GI doctor doesn't know how to cure my GERD or gastritis. He has sent me to an acupuncturist and pretty much makes me feel like if the meds aren't working, there's something wrong with me (though I have symptoms when I have no anxiety). Does acupuncture damage nerves? Can it really cure GERD? (he seems to think it will really help me so I have 3 visits scheduled. I'll try anything, i'm sick of being sick!)... What makes you think acupuncture could damage nerves? That's completely not true. Acupuncture can cure GERD if a qualified practitioner knows the right ponts. In our office I always tell people to give it 10 treatments. Some people will improve quickly and some slower. If there is going to be improvement it will be in those 10 visit or is not going to work for you |
