Acupuncture?

anyone had acupuncture before?

This is a lot of negative press on this. Of course, doctors and pharmaceutical companies would you prefer you to buy the drugs. Idiots eat anything fox news feeds them. I had asthma since I was 2 years old and it was cured using acupuncture, as was my eczema.

Acupuncture is basically a form of quackery, although not basically harmful, and has the effect of tricking your mind into healing other parts of your body. Suspend disbelief and go for it.
I have had a number of accupunture treatments. It was very strange the first time, I don't realy like needles but I got some relief from my back pain right away and then a second treatment a few days later and my chronic back pain that I had tried all kinds of things (meds, chiro, rest) got better. It wasn't like completely gone in an instant, but it was the first thing that actualy made it feel better rather than just holding it. I have since had a treatment for tendonitus and it helped too.
I will use it again if I need it.
I just went thru 10 weeks of acupunture and cupping from a very highly recommened doctor. I had absolutely no relief from any of my back discomfort. I really wanted this to work because I don't want surgery and even though I had heard it was not really effective I went into it truly believing that it would help me. I wasted 10 weeks because he realized I was not improving and sent me to a pain management physician.
Yes I've had acupuncture and it's not BS. If it was BS why is that it's been used for centuries? Nothing lasts that long if it doesn't work. I had it for nerve pain. They used quite a few needles and only one hurt because it was right on a nerve meridian.
