Is acupuncture useful to heal wrist and hand pain?

I am a musician who has been suffering from wrist and hand pain, probably because of playing my instrument for long periods of time. I suspect I may be on the verge of carpal tunnel syndrome. Is it true that acupuncture might alleviate most of my problems? Thanks in advance for your insight and for sharing your experiences on this matter.

Acupuncture can definitely help this problem. it will take several visits, not just one. I recommend you take longer rest periods between playing your musical instrument. You have to give the muscles a break From repetitive use. Source(s): retired doctor Naturopathic medicine
Yes. Acupuncture has even helped some avoid surgery for carpal tunnel. It is definitely worth a try and give it at least a few treatments.
