Is acupuncture permanent?

are the affects permanent? it seems silly to say that unless your changing your habits, diet or something like that that it can be permanent!

It depends on the problem. Your body can heal, so if you go for an injury, it heals and problem is gone. If your damage is chronic, acupuncture will relieve the pain, but it won't be able to heal the damage- nothing would. If you injure yourself (playing tennis for example), heal, and continue to play tennis and strain that body part again and again, of course it won't be permanent.
Nothing is permanent.
I had gone originally for insomnia. It did nothing to remedy the situation. But on a brighter note, my menstrual cramps were lessened, and I was far less stressed at work. When I stopped going (for financial reasons), cramps & stress came right back.
I dnt think so...
no...it will need regular maintenace to ensure the effects last.
It's part of a healthy routine.
