Pain(Acupuncture)Please help.?

Has anybody ever had Acupuncture and do it work for pain relive, and where whould you get it done

Hi - I run an alternative health practice and we have an acupuncturist amongst us. I have tried the therapy and felt amazing afterwards - full of energy. My partner has a chronic arthritis like condition which causes him constant excruciating pain. After his first acupuncture session he had no pain at all for two weeks so he has now booked himself a course of ten sessions.
I got mine on the NHS for a bad back and for RSI in my wrist. It worked for my back but not my wrist! It's pretty good - I'd go for it again if needs be.
dont do it urself consult specilist
your gp should do it.
Hi there, Im a hair stylist and one of my clients used to be in agony because of her knee...she was refered to an acupuncturist - she said she couldn't believe the difference. Its worked for a few people I know...sorry i cant be of more help! :-)
Acupuncture works on some but not on others. I have tried it because I suffer with Sciatica bad. It did not work for me.
I've had it a lot for severe back pain (I have a twisted spine) It worked great for me - would thoroughly recommend it and I HATE needles!!

Had it done via local physiotherapist!
