Can acupuncture alleviate severe back pain near the coccyx? |
Can acupuncture alleviate severe back pain near the coccyx? If all else fails why not give it a shot? it might work...if u have severe back pains u must go get an MRI to see the amt of damage. u really should rest a lot..don't sit down for too long...take a anti inflammatory drug like aleve or ibuprofen to relieve the pain. after the worst of the pain is gone maybe yo should do some stretching exercises...that really helped me. Honestly, I don't know but I do know that acupuncture has helped many people that I know for lots of problems. I think acupuncture and massage alleviates severe back pain. Another possibility is chiropractic in combination with massage. This is very effective since the chiropractor can do x-rays and determine if there is a non-muscular reason for the pain...like bone misalignment or disc bulging. The massage therapist can help relieve the muscular tightness that other medical methods cannot. Acupuncture might also help. A lot depends on the cause of the pain! |
