Which ear acupuncture points would you needle to treat someone with severe shoulder and finger pain.? |
The person in question has suffered from severe shoulder and finger pain for years. Her G P can find no reason for this and just keeps prescibing pain killers. She has asked me as an aricular acupuncturist if I can help. So I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a certain protocol for these symtoms. ARE YOU THE EXPERT YOU CLAIM TO BE? Obviously neck, shoulder, arm and hand points in the ear, also sympathetic nervous system. Also it may be useful to take into consideration which side she is suffering the pain on. In chinese medicine the right hand side relates to the male aspect, the left the female. It would be interesting to see if the person has had any emotional issues relating to either of these aspects. |
