Has anyone tried acupuncture? |
i am thinking of having acupuncture on my foot for my arthritus, has anybody else had this done, does it help and also does it hurt? thanks. My wife has had several couses of accupunture for arthritis in her spine. She swears by it. I have known lots of people have success with accupuncture- and when I ask them if it hurts the answer is 'not usually, but there are one or two points which can be a bit tender'. Reflexology is also fine, but if the arthritis is in your foot (that's the impression I got) then the reflexology massage would be applied to your hand instead (complementary pressure points) so that the massage itself wouldn't hurt the condition I felt a bit of a prick it doesnt hurt, & it didnt work for me but thats not to say it wont work for you No, no and a little bit. Well I have tried it and it works, does it hurt, it does ij your mind because you have having needles stuck in to your body but really, No it does not hurt, you might not feel that it is working but I get it done every six months for my back injuries. Ive had acupuncture. It hurt a little when the needles were inserted in some places and didn't hurt at all in others. the pain was akin to getting a shot only it wasn't quite as bad. The acupuncture worked so well that I was happy to endure the little tinge that it took to insert the needle. I worked for a naturaopathic doc who used to do acupuncture on me when I had sinus infections or respiratory infections - they helped greatly. I highly recommend acupuncture. i have tried it, though not for an arthritis case. it did hurt, but in the end it helps you a lot. i use it for chakra allignment. the needles that hurt the most in my case are the ones related with stress and temper but once you are out of it, you feel renewed and the effect lasts several weeks. |
