I have blistering hot feelings in my feet with periodic sharp shooting pains. At the same time it feels like ants are biting my feet and lower legs even though when I walk it feels like I'm walking on thick numb pads. I take neurontin 3 times a day and lortab 10 when it gets so bad that I can't sleep. I'm asking for any suggestions that might help me.
I have heard that acupuncture can help, but it is too expensive for me.
I understand your pain since I have neuropathy also. I take three 50mg Lyrica a day (It is chemically similar to Neurontin, but doesn't have as severe side effects) I also take one 60mg Cymbalta a day. The two work together to help quite a bit. My pain is never gone, but can be controlled some by the medications.
