Has anyone ever used acupuncture for carpal tunnel syndrome on their hands and wrists? |
I got carpal tunnel during my pregancy and it went away after I had my baby and now 6 months later it has come back. I am getting more pain everyday, and I do spend time at a computer for my work. Hello - ... I have had a good deal of experience with acupuncture and have trained in and used Chinese medicine in my work with people. In my opinion,.. acupuncture would not really be a solution to carpal tunnel syndrome. ... It may provide you with temporary relief,.. but if the underlying problem, (which originates in your central nervous system), is not cleared,.. the problem will remain and most likely worsen. .... Obviously the way you are over-using your body in a specific way is largely at cause here,.. and you need to learn how to counteract the effects of your work on your wrist. ... Obviously you would prefer to avoid having to turn to the final solution offered by modern medicine,... which is surgery on your wrist. ... The following may provide you with that solution ..... There is a very progressive form of bodywork that I believe you would recieve good results from for addressing your problem. That system is called; 'NETWORK CARE'. ... Network is a system practiced by specific doctors of chiropractic and in spite of the application being amazingly gentle,..(no traditional bone cracking adjustments),... it's effects can be quite profound and address problems on a much deeper level than traditional chiropractic can. ... You would need to recieve regular treatments over time as part of a process of "clearing" the root 'aberration' from your nervous system,.. and in fact the rest of your overall health would benefit from the treatments as well,.. but I believe that you would experience success towards addressing your problem. If you are interested, the following web link will provide you with more information on Network Care along with a directory of practitioners: http://www.associationfornetworkcare.com... Acupuncture will not help you, only in short-term. Only way to fully help you is to go to doctor's. They'll give you wrist pads, then possibly next is an operation, depending on your severity. Sister had carpal tunnel yes and it dosent take care of the problem you need to be tested |
