Does anyone know what acupuncture is? |
i get bad menstrual pains monthly and i heard acupuncture relieves pain. anyone tried it? I have done accupuncture on myself many times. Accupuncture uses tiny needles about as thick as a human hair. These needles are used in assorted accupuncture points on the body to either stimulate the flow of ch'i in your meridians, or block the flow of ch'i. Ch'i is your lifeforce energy. yes.it is a form of alternative medicine and it works wonders. Acupuncture was invented by the Japanese and is used by the insertion of needles. Acupuncture, one of the main forms of therapy in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), has been practiced for at least 2,500 years. In acupuncture, certain points on the body are stimulated by the insertion of fine needles. Unlike the hollow hypodermic needles used in mainstream medicine to give injections or to draw blood, acupuncture needles are solid. The points can be needled between 15掳 and 90掳 relative to the skin's surface, depending on treatment. does anyone know what acupunture is? It's an old chinese way of relaxing or healing you. I do believe they take needles and then stick them into all the pressure points in your body. And I have heard that it does relieve pain. Try it. its basically for pain relief ya... its were very tiny needles are stuck into your skin. the needles are much smaller then regular sewing needles. so that they don't hurt or cause you to bleed or anything when stuck into your skin. |
