Does anyone know if acupuncture works and helps people to quit smoking? |
I am a smoker (obviously) and I want to quit, BUT I have tried everything else to quit and it's just so so so hard...and with the stress in my life right now, I pretty much give up on everything else, but wanted to know if anyone here has had acupuncture to quit or know someone that has had it and if it worked!! I appreciate your answers and suggestions :) I feel sorry for you. I used to be in a similar situation like you. I eventually stopped through some soul-searching and help from individuals. My mother smoked for years and years...like 40. I had asthma and she still smoked in the house....I begged her to stop and she said "when I'm damned good and ready" well..she used hypnotism and it worked the second time. she has been clean of smoking for like 10 years. it's AMAZING for me to see! Yes, it works. The point is to find an experienced person that will implement this kind of alternative therapy and believe on the efficacy of the treatment.
