Who is likely to get Acupuncture? People with a variety of ailments would be likely to get acupuncture: "Today, the World Health Organization recognizes more than 40 conditions which may be treated with acupuncture. Some of those problems include arthritis, back pain, neck pain, headaches, constipation or diarrhea, addiction, insomnia, depression, anxiety, toothache, premenstrual syndrome, and infertility." It's a shame that more people don't use acupuncture as primary care...it's been around for thousands of years - compared to western medicine that's been around for a few hundred years. |
