Has anyone out there got help from acupuncture??

And for what?? How long did it take to help??

Ligament injury in the ankle and kneecap.
It takes me few months of sessions to help in each case.

Acupuncture is the use of needles to stimulate "pressure points" or acupoints in the body to release or inhibit certain hormones of regulation.
It stimulates mechanism similar to homoeostasis.
Some pressure points can also inhibit pain if pierced at the correct points.

Optimally sessions should be about 3 days in between.
My neck was injured in an auto accident.

I received accupunture for 6 weeks...it helps alot.
i had a jaw dysfunction that the chiropractic just couldn't fix but acupuncture did. it took about 4 sessions and i no longer having clicking or pain in my jaw.
my own experience.
acupuncture will help for any problem which is physiologically reversible. pain, spasm, colic, blood pressure, asthma etc. the WHO has also approved acupuncture for many disease. different practitioners have different methods of treatment so have faith in yours, and go ahead.
Yes, it worked for me so well, that my wife is now geting it !
