How beneficial is acupuncture for someone who is finding it difficult to conceive children?

Yes! My mother had acupuncture while she was pregnant because my brother was in the wrong position. They lit each baby toe on fire and told her to take it for as long as she could stand it. (Really Weird I know) But the next day she went to the doctors and he was perfect. That stuff is really powerful and there are all different kinds.
You should give it a shot.

Not as effective as sexual intercourse.

About as beneficial as biting your lip. If you've been on birth control pills and have recently stopped, it takes a few months before you can get pregnant.

1. It should be received from someone who really knows it and who has a record to show.
2. Alternative medicine is complimentary, it is not a substitute. So, the couple shouldn't stop whatever therapy they are taking for this.
3. One must have faith in whatever one tries. That is a very important factor.
4. I know of a few couples who attribute their success to acupuncture therapy. They had tried many other treatments.
5. There is at least no harm/ side effects.
