Are Reiki and acupuncture proven or placebo?

Reiki is placebo... Acupuncture has some research that appears to provide some legitimate supportive evidence.

It depends on the receiver. If you believe it works, it will work.

I done a little private experiment on Reiki to see if it was just placebo
when my mother had just came out of hospital after her stroke
she was having difficulty sleeping due to the pain in her leg
so with her permission , I sent reiki healing on ten consecutive nights .... but missing one night out without telling her which one

on the nights that I sent the healing , she slept like a baby
on one particular night , she phoned me and told ME that I had not sent her healing ... and she was right

so although just a small test , it was good results
I would like to see more testing done on Reiki
