I have a specific example. Could a math professor that has been using chalk for all of his life suddenly develop a reaction to it? you can develop an allergy to anything at anytime of life. Yes, you can develop an allergy to something at any time I believe so. I have had cats for 13 years. After 10 years, I became allergic to them. After I turned 30, I developed all kinds of allergies that I did not have before. It's possible I guess. I know that allergies can develop later in life...my best friend suddenly developed an allergy to her cat of 5 years and had to get rid of it. yes, allergies can arise at anytime. people who eat seafood all the time can one day eat it and have a severe allergic reaction. If you think you might be allergic to something speak with your doctor or allergist. yeah, in fact it seems to be that its the things that we are around or eat the most that we tend to develop allergies to. yes...it happened to me with shellfish..after some years it went away again. Yes, it is possible. I know a lady who loves chocolate and used to eat a lot of it- who is now very much allergic to it. Yes, our bodies reach intolerances at different ages. My misery began at 28. I was fine up until then and never knew what having allergies was like. I used to work with a girl who was sick all the time and she would tell me what she was going through, I felt so bad for her. I had my turn 4 years later and have suffered since then, I'm now 36. |
