Seasonal allergies are so bad this year, what to do?

I moved to CA from WA some years ago and my allergies got much better. I am allergic to mold, grass, dust, pollen, animals, you name it. anyway, i just moved into the city and got a cat and my allergies are just horrible. im usually pretty ok with cats. i dont want to give her up as i think she is not the whole cause anyway. the place i live in was also built a long time ago if that matters. what can i do?

I would start taking alavert or claritin to help you manage and function.

I have horrible allergies to just about everything too...I take Zyrtec, and I haven't had a problem for years. For really mild allergies, Claritin is OK, but not good at all for bad ones. GOOD LUCK!

i would take claratin, but i usually have bad allergies and this year they have started early and they are worse, and EVERYTHING makes them worse!
