Allergies in pregnancy ? |
Hi as its spring my hayfever is playing up as I general get allergys all year round lol, but worse when its these times of year lol, I was on Cetrizine Hyrochloride which is known as Zirtek, but when I asked my midwife she told be not to take it in the first 12 weeks, I am now 21 weeks and I did ring my doctor after 12 weeks to see if I could take it and he said yes, Im still not so sure to take it or not and would rather not take anything. i am 33 weeks and my doctor told me to take children's benadryl she said its safe to take during pregnancy i have been taking it for 4 weeks now and it helps alot I know that feeling all too well. I asked my doctor and he told me that I could take claritin or benadryl. He said that I could take anything because all of the major body parts have developed. Use a Neti Pot try eating local honey as the local bees feed onlocal flowers and it helps you build up a resistance. IT works and is a natraul remedie. hope that helps |
