Allergies or flu?

Ok. So I'm not quite sure what's going on with my lately. I'm assuming I have developed allergies though, but I want to make sure. I realize this is the internet, but I don't have insurance and very little money, so no doctor visit for me. :(

For the past few weeks I've been dealing with a runny nose, though sometimes it gets stuffy, but it's been runny more often that not. I can't stop sneezing for the life of me. My head hurts and my eyes itch really badly.

Allergies?
Also, what causes allergies? I've never had them before. My friends are sort of in the same position. Never had allergies, but we all have these symptoms.

Also, what kind of medicine is best?

Thanks :)

Not really enough info. Does everyone live/work/sleep in the same place? Maybe there is mold in an area where everyone congregates or sleeps now. What about diet. Are you guys eating something new or from a different source?
Alot of allergies these days stem from food additives. There are things used in the processing and packaging of foods that are not required to be on the label and equate to poison. You could also have developed an air born allergy. There could be something in the air that's bothering everyone. Take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day to help your body develop immunities to all the air born irritants around you. After a month or so you will be acclimated to whatever is bothering you. Try to stay away from antihistamines and decongestants-they dry out your body causing sinus and/or kidney complications now or later on.
