Allergies to face medicine?

I have acne, not a bad case, but you know puberty acne, and i sometimes once in a while use like face wash and then the next day, my eyes, like around my eye area, not inside my eyes, they're like itchy and a little swollen, and i thought i was allergic to them so i stopped using them and then i got pro activ i used it face wash, toner and then lotion and next morning my eyes are itchy and same thing, my mom thinks im just not used to it, but I don't know, is it normal, does people have it, i stopped using pro activ and just now i applied it on, and i tried to avoid my eye area, hopefully this works

Yes you are probably allergic to it. I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide. I used this acne cream that you just put directly on the pimple. I applied it to a couple of pimples one on my forehead and one on my cheek. The next morning I woke up and my eyes were swollen shut. I went to the doctor and he gave me a couple of different medicines and told me not to use the cream ever again. So now I just avoid it. There are other products you can use.

You may be allergic to benzoyl peroxide an active ingredient in acne medication. I would go to a Dermatologists to be sure....

try cetaphil cream cleanser it really gentle on your face and is medicatedsoit reduces pimples plus you can use it with or withot water

I have had the same reactions to mainy things try hypoallegetic and unsented.

try tea tree oil, its natural and very good on clearing up the skin. Since it's natural you may not get a reaction to it
