My allergies are really bad right now...my throat hurts so bad!? |
i have prom on saturday and my throat has been hurting sooo bad all day long! i expected it to go away after my medicine got in my system..but it didnt! i take zyrtec and it didnt work. go buy tea Just let it rest. Believe me, it will go away in a day or two if you do. I am a singer, and when I get sore throats a lot I just don't talk for a while and it does go away. If that doesn't work, you should go see a doctor to check for maybe strep throat. Usually, if you have allergies they would be the typical cause, or just sinus problems, but if it persists, don't take anymore medicine and go see a doctor. You don't want to fill your body up with medicine that you didn't need in the first place. Oh, and sometimes before I go and have to get back to my performing arts academy to sing and I have a sore throat, I sometimes do drink tea. If you don't have any well then go and get some. That almost always helps. Tincture of time ( meaning with time you will be well) chicken soup, carbonated beverages, rest, bayer aspirin. You may have a virus, not allergies. Sip on warm water and honey. And just make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day to help flush out the toxins. Make sure to rest until saturday hey you should try warm salt water and if that does not work you might need a antibiotic |
