What the answer for an itchy throat due to allergies? take some fresh lime cut it in half &squeeze it into a glass add some salt & knock it down works everytime Benadryl allergies, i know, they suck. this is the season. the best thing to do is go to your doc. he or she will will give you a prescription to keep those symptoms at bay. in the mean time, drink a lot of water, it will clear your system. and gargle with hot salt water to ease your throat. it may not be allergies, you may be getting a cold and the itchy throat is the first time. call up your doctor and make an appointment. ;) Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection.
