Can you develop allergies to your face wash?

last yr I had very bad acne!Then I saw this product called Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Kit(note that the wash had benzoyl perox.,the moisterizer&spot treatment had salicylic acid)& it was a miracle for my skin!The kit lasted for 2 mo. until it ran out.Now b4 i had used this product i was using this organic soap cause i kinda have sensitive skin.After I ran out I used my organic soap again until i could get some more.It had been like 2wks & my dad STILL had forgotten to buy me another clean and clear kit and my skin was steady going back to its zitful state :-( So I started trying to squeeze ANY last bit of face wash left in the kit,& there was a little!the nxt day my face was clear but my eyes had swollen up so much.I realized tht i thnk im allergic to benzoyl perox. cus evrytime i use smething w/ it, my eyes swell. I believ it was cause i went back organic, but now since ive been using salicylic acid, I think im ready to try the clean&clear kit again. What do you think&wat can i do

P.S.- Do you think my switch from chemicals to organic products caused my results?
