Allergies in babies?

Ok, I just asked this question a little while ago....

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

Now, if it's allergies, wouldn't there be other symptoms? Or would the dark circles be the only thing?

What are the symptoms of allergies in babies?

I would do a little more research myself, but my job has restricted most websites, so it's a slight pain in the butt. For some reason, they haven't restricted YA! yet, LOL

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

My oldest has bad allergies and has had them since birth. He has to take a Singulair every night and if we miss 3 in a row, it's a guaranteed asthma attack. He gets them from me, as a child, I used to go in every Tuesday for my allergy shot. He does get dark circles under his eyes on ocassion but only from lack of sleep. If allergies were the cause of this, it seems like there would have to be other symptoms.

LOL @ they haven't blocked it... yet. I have been waiting for that to happen at my job, it seems everything else is blocked lately.

My daughter had a severe allergy to milk and all milk ingredients from the time she was born. She just outgrew it about five months ago at the age of nine years. The symptoms that she showed throughout the years were rash, hives, red cheeks, watery eyes, runny nose/other cold symptoms, asthma problems, wheezing, vomitting, diarrhea, stomach aches, and fussiness.

There would be other symptoms. They are pretty much the same as in an adult...runny (clear mucus) or stuffy nose, mouth breathing, itchy, red, or watery eyes, cough, sneezing, and dark circles under the eyes. If the only thing that you see is the dark circles, I wouldn't be too concerned.

If it is an allergy you'd know about it. My son's are all allergic to something, and you know when they are allergic.

He is tired. My kids all get dark eyes when they are tired, I have permanent dark rings.
