Dog with allergies??

i have a dog with wheat and glutton alergies, he's on a dry food thats free from, but was wondering if there was a meaty food i could offer him, that was free from , he eats his dry food but doesnt seem to enjoy it as much,

Well... pretty much anything except gluten (not "glutton", btw). It should be noted that only some grains have gluten, so it's not necessary that food is grain free, only gluten free. Rice, quinoa, etc... are all very healthy gluten-free grains.

I suggest making part of his meal (or, if he's fed multiple meals, one meal a day) just a combination of various human foods... some kind of meat (boiled chicken is good), vegetables (carrots, celery, potatoes, etc... are great choices), fruit (apples, tomatoes, cucumber, pears, etc...), some gluten free grain as mentioned above, and a bit of plain yogurt. Most dogs love it, and it's very healthy for them.

It's not a good idea to give your dog just meat though, as no more than about 1/4 of their diet should be protein (and keep in mind - grains, certain fruits, etc... also have a fair amount of protein). Excessive protein can cause kidney failure over time.

Gluten is in wheat, barley, rye, spelt and triticale.
Unless the canned meat is specifically produced for a limited diet, I would not take the risk of glutening your dog via cross contamination. I have 2 dogs with allergies, one with allergies and intolerances.
I just skip the canned food altogether and make his supplements at home. Be sure your cookware and utensils that you use for his food is gluten free as well or you can gluten him accidently.
just add sweet meats (or regular meat) whirled about in a food processor and he would eat a shoe should it be coated in it. Add whatever veggies he likes and add that to his dry kibble. This also costs a lot less than canned food!
I feed raw, so either add it cooked or raw, the pup will not care!

Hills and Royal Canin both do hypoallergenic foods that come in canned form, ask your vet; z/d, d/d, sensitivity control, hypoallergenic diet, intestinal diet - lots of choice. There are probably suitable canned foods in pet stores first, but obv you'll have to check the ingredients - and let your vet know what you're feeding too.

My dog has allergies as well, to wheat, beef and corn and the one I found he actually likes is Nutro Large Breed Lamb & Rice. They have small bites as well but my baby is BIG :) Also Duck & Potato is a good one...
