The WORST ALLERGIES please hellp!?

I have a realllly runny stuffy nose and irritated itchy eyes. I took Claritin D for like a week and it worked great but it stopped working. Is there anything that will actually keep working that won't just stop after a week?????? Plllease help I am miserable!! Thanks (:

actually claaritin is really good.

try alavert.

Ah, medicine...it's tough. Sometimes, no medicine works at all for allergies. However, it can still control them.

For instance, are you experiencing a lot of post nasal drip? Try Nasonex, you won't notice improvement immediately but it starts working after a week.

Claritin D is an okay medicine for over-the-counter, but since it doesn't work try Zyrtec. It's expensive, but it works well to control allergies. Sudafed can plug up your runny nose, and general allergic reactions can be stopped with Benadryl.

For your eyes, if you visit your eye doctor (not an allergist!) they can prescribe you a special kind of eye drop that should help clear up your eyes. They can tell you then if it's allergies causing it, or something else, or allergies combined with something else. Regular eye drops can control how irritated they look but not always how they feel.

Keep on trying different medications, because things work differently for everyone. Eventually you'll find something that works well for you :)

Hot compresses and sometimes I eat tacos, put tabasco sauce on top of the picante.. that works for me.. for awhile...
