Cartilage piercing allergy- do i need to remove earring?

I think my ear is allergic to my cartilage piercing- it is red and a little bit tender. Doctor said it is not infection. I got the piercing about 2 months ago. Do I need to remove the earring? It cost 20 bucks and I would rather not... also, a bump is developing behind the piercing- tips to get rid of it?

Try salt water soaks with a shotglass.

A lot of piercings go through a period of tenderness and swelling.

You can also go back to the person who gave you the piercing and ask them what you should do. They are usually better at helping you than a doctor.

Actually I dont think your ear is allergic its just how the body heals... google has alot of ways on how to stop the keloid[bump] from forming

Just wait it out and maybe it will get better
