Benadryll and food allergies?

i am allergic or intolerant to certain foods. when i eat then i have reaction in digestive track (stomach ache, throwing up..)
if i accidentally eat one of the foods and take benadryll after will it relieve the symtoms

It will relieve symptoms if the reaction is mild to moderate. In extreme cases, anaphalactic shock can set in before Benedryll has a chance to hit the blood stream. In this case, IV meds have to be administered.

When I have a reaction I take benadryl. If its mild it helps, but I have allergies that will cause me to stop breathing. In that case I inject my self my an Epi Pen and go to the emergency room right away.
