Have a developed allergies?

Well ever since I was a child I havent been allergic to anything. But in recent months, it seems since March or so that my symptoms have developed. Every day I wake up my nose is stuffed, my throat is itchy and my chest is a little tight. Same symptoms everyday, they only seem to go away when i goto work, good ventilation there? I dont know, I also have 2 cats with which I have never had a problem. But does this sound like a recent development of allergies?

yes it sounds like allegies, could be cat, could be dust or pollen in your home. work enviroment often times is closed up with air conditioning blocking pollen filled air from outside, being home you might have windows open, ceiling fan on which kicks the pollen around in the room more. Now the pollen counts are lowering I would dust things in your room where you sleep, any plants or picture frames, furniture, see if that helps.
I am going on 42 and never had allergies until about 4 yrs ago with sinus pressure, pressure in neck glands when I bend over, right to my ears and head.
My father just turned 73, until about 6 yrs ago he never had allergies and does now, same with my husband who is 47 and his began a few years ago too. People I know and talk to who have never had allergies now do. I honestly think something in our air is changing, being more pollution, or something, but this sudden increase of allergies even in children now just popping up out of no where is odd.
You are certainly not alone! Advil cold and sinus works best for symptoms so if they flare to the point where it gets real annoying and even with a headache, take one of those, it helps a great deal.

I developed hayfever as an adult.

Go and see your doctor. Also think about any recent diet changes.

I was told by my family Dr. that allergies can develope at any given time in someones life. Go to your family Dr. and he might refer you to an allergist.

well i was the same as you,and i found out i had asthma
( im 13 years old)
