Can a pregnant woman ask for an allergy test? |
I had some sort of weird reaction to Butter Pecan Icecream tonight (my throat got really itchy and it was harder for me to breath) I want to bring the empty icecream carton to the doctors so they can look at the ingredients and maybe give me an allergy test to see what triggered the reaction. I've never been allergic to pecans before but I've never had butter pecan ice cream before so I'm not sure if it was the nuts or the ice cream. You can ask your doctor anything...If you were having a reaction as you just described could have been a anaphylactic reaction. The possiblity of it happenning again given the same allergen could make a worse or even fatal reaction... So do call doctor perhaps he will send you to a specialist.. this cannot be ignored.............. you really need to ask your doctor this, need to keep that baby safe. |
