Allergies with cat.. but want to get a dog? |
My mother has cat allergies and I'm suppose to be picking up a Pomeranian this weekend, do you think there will be problems? Nah. My dad is severally allergic to cats, but not to dogs. you should realize if its cat dander she is allergic to she could also become allergic or is allergic to other animal dander.if you have an allergist she could be tested could be tested it could prevent future heart ache.Also if she isnt allergic now She could become allergic with further exposure to a new pet. If she doesnt live with you you could limit her exposure. to rooms your dog isnt in. Being allergic to one animal doesn't mean you're allergic to all animals. I am allergic to all animal dander. But dogs don't cause me to have any allergy problems whereas being around cats almost kills me. |
