What is the best allergy medication?

I have tried Claritin and Reactine, and they don't seem to help much. Please don't recommend Zrytec because that is just the American equivalent of Reactine. I am allergic to grass pollens, and some tree pollens. Do you know of any medications that work well to stop itchy eyes and a runny nose due to allergies?

I know there is Flonase, Allegra (check the spelling on that), Benadryl (again pardon the spelling), Sudafed.

I would highly recommend SinuCleanse though, it comes in both a pot and squeeze container. It's basically salt (similar to shooting eye saline in your nose) that dries out or breaks up boogers in the nose. You can use it as much as you want a day, it helps breathing. It depends on your nose for the drying out. I know my father will use it up to 7 times a day (when he is sick that is) and it doesn't dry his nose out where as I am 3 times. It's mostly for running, stuffy nose and sneezing perhaps not itchy eyes.

I know you have tried claritin, but i would suggest giving Claritin 'D' a try. I have found that it really helps to relieve some seasonal allergy symptoms. If taht doesn't work try Benadryl (although I do warn you, it may couse a bit of drowsines).

Benadryl is really good so is piraton

You need anti histamine tablets. Good luck
