Can an adult develop a pet or food allergy overnight ? |
I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary in the past month or so and I haven't used any make up or lotions or new detergents or anything like that, but I recently developed a red, itchy rash sometimes accompanied by hives, sometimes not. It goes away when im on benedryl so everyone is tellin me it has to be an allergy but I've never been allergic to anything before. Is it possible for me to just wake up with a brand new allergy one day thats never bothered me before? Yes, I've recently developed an eczema-type rash from my dishwashing liquid (which I'd used for years). Changing to an organic one took away the rash. Yes it is possible, it happened to me with fish and seafood. You body is able to build up a sensitive to something the 1st time 10th time or even 500th time after you touch it. So when you touch the thing you鈥檙e now allergic to you immune system reacts to it and u gets a reaction Yes, and stress can also cause hives which would still get better with benadryl |
