What are acceptable allergy/cold medicines to take while pregnant?

Please let me know which websites (if any) are good for accessing this information. Thanks!

You should really ask your doctor this question for the most accurate information. Don't rely on web sites when it comes to taking medication while pregnant. You will find contradicting advice and some web sites that have wrong information on them. When I was pregnant my doctor allowed me to take Sudafed, but only your doctor knows your medical history.

for allergies, you can take claritin, and thats it. for colds, regular sudafed...that is basically it. trust me i just talked to my doctors office...i begged them to give me a shot in the butt for my allergies and they said no but i could take claritin or however you spell it!

congrats and good luck

Tylenol for certain, but you can also take robitussin.... Believe it or not.... I have had lots of allergies and colds with this pregnancy and my doctor advised me to take robitussin... It works much better then tylenol for colds... But still call your doctor and make sure they say its ok..... Better safe then sorry

Actually calling a pharmacist would be the best. Just look up a local CVS or Walgreens and talk to someone. You don't have to be a customer to call and ask. They will give you the best advice.
