I am a cashier and i was terminated because i refuse to do dusting i have allergies? Couldn't you have simply worn a dust mask and done your job? What is the exact reason for firing...failure to dust? Without accomodating you if you asked if you could wear a mask, YES, you can sue. I am guessing that dusting is part of the job description. Find another job and be sure to know what your duties are. its not the employers problem that you have allergies. find a new job and get over it. that sounds about right - I would have fired you also. so?. they legally fired you. |
