Anyone have any experience using accupuncture for Allergies? |
Where the might be a list of licensed Accupuncturists. my accupuncturist is also a chiropractor, so i normally get poked and crunched in the same session. His treatments have seemed to work so far - i get a little stuffy, but not the super sniffle, crud welling, snotrocketry that I used to get . If he knows his chinese medicine as well, he'll be able to figure out some of the other things that are provoking minor allergic reactions and help mitigate those. That fixes the minor malaise some of us live with. A good acupuncturist will use the needles to effectively stimulate a reduction in reactions. Make sure to follow what s/he tells you to do, and not do, especially the little silly diet things - they really make a difference. Acupuncture has no proven effects at all, other than temporary relief of minor pain. It does this merely by activating the bodies own placebo response, which results in the release of natural painkillers, called endorphins. The placebo response has been scientifically proven and is in agreement with what was already known about anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and neurotransmitters. seasonal allergies can be elliminated by introducing local bee pollen to your diet. Start off with 1/4 tsp for a week, sencond week 1/2 tsp by the third a full tsp. Check your yellow pages. |
