How will a Chihuahua/Poodle/Maltese mix be on my allergies?

I know that Bichons and Poodles are the most Hypo Allergenic but I want to know if anyone has had experience with one of these Chihuahua/Poodle/Maltese mixes. I am allergic to cats and was a bit allergic to a chihuahua. Thanks

If you were a bit allergic to a chihuahua than you will be a bit allergic to a chihuahua mix. No dog is Hypoallergenic they all have dander and they all shed. A mix breed can have all the best qualities of each breed or it can have all the worst qualities of each breed. Stick with a Poodle or a Bichons as at least they breed true and you can tell what you are getting.

there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog...

that being said, there are things you can do to reduce reaction:

one, get on a prescription allergy medication.

two, bathe your dog no less than once every two weeks (i do once a week myself).

three, feed your dog a super premium food (sounds odd, but it actually works... they tend to have healthier skin and coat, and produce less dander).

i have serious allergies myself, and these work for me.
