Does anyone here have a mold allergy? |
I have asthma. I am also allergic to mold, the safe kind that naturally occurs in many homes. this time of year when going to visit people in older homes, i have a reaction after a few hours. I have a hard time breathing, and unless I get to outdoor air it continues and worsens. I get it in the fall too when the leaves fall and start to decompose. my question is for anyone with experience with this sort of allergy. what can i take to make it better? I am about to visit my sister and she has it in her home. I want my stay to be pleasant. is there a medication (OTC) that I can take, like claritin? I am allergic to mold too. I take clarinex and use a nose spray. If you want OTC, I would use claritin or claritin D and buy a nose spray like Zicam. If the mold concentration is really high you may still have some problems. Hi, I have allergies to All molds that the allergists test for. As well as many other allergies Peanuts and Bananas included. I take a Generic Claritin ( Loratidine) as well as Zyrtec and Singulair, among other meds including Asthma meds and an Epipen Personal Experience |
