What is the best medication for allergy sufferers?

What is the best medication for allergy sufferers?

The best medication is usually and antihistamine. Loratadine (Claritin, Alavert) is the only non-drowsy OTC antihsitamine. Prescription antihistamines include Allegra (available as a generic) and Zyrtec.
You can also treat individual symptoms. If your symptoms are primarily watery, itchy eyes, you can use an ocular antihistamine like Patanol. If your primary symptom is nasal congestion, you can use a nasal corticosteroid like Flonase or Nasonex.
one of the best is benadryl, it's cheap and been around for a long time
any chemist has a good choice.
scooby.doo,
Loratadine is a drug used to treat allergies
Loratadine is effective for me. A brand name of this drug is Claritin. I buy Members Mark brand at Sams Club for $15 for 300 tablets which is almost a year's supply. It does not have the drowsy side effects of Benadryl and is cheap. Allegra is also very effective but it is not available over the counter.
You can use Loratadine 10mg tablets It is long acting non sedating but if you are asthmatic I prefer cetrizine tablet 10mg it is also non sedating but some people say it cause drowsiness
