Have you ever heard of a yeast allergy? When I drink certain wines and eat certain pizza's my throat swells. Go to a nutritionist. I have an allergy to yeast, and anything that feeds yeast. My throat doesn't swell or anything, but I get extremely severe exczema. Also, go to an allergist to test for other allergies. A friend of mine is allergic to yeast. She found out when she drank a beer for the first time and had to go to the hospital because her throat swelled so much it cut off her air flow. I would imagine you could be allergic to yeast... I have an unidentified sensitivity to something bread/ yeast/ gluten related. I just try to avoid the things that bother me (my breathing is affected, and I get strange chest pains), so pay attention to when it happens. You should also look into a scratch test at the allergist. Allergy meds might help (I take Allegra 60mg). If you eat certain wines and pizza and your throat swells stop being a pizza eating alcoholic and consult a doctor. Period. yes...i have a friend who is gluton-allergic..which I believe is found in yeast, so...things like beer, wine, and bread can be irritants. They do make gluton-free beers and some wines-im not sure about. Yes I knew a lady with a yeast allergy. You need to avoid yeast bread, cheese, and mushrooms. You may be allergic to molds also. Allergy desensitation shots would probably help. |
