Has any one out there had a allergy due to cold weather during winter? |
i have a persistent sore throat whent to urgent care they did culture was neg but they saw nothing wrong so tell me can witers cold are irrate your throat all day every day let me know if you have had this happen and what to do to relive I have- it's my sinuses draining down the back of my throat- by the end of the day it feels red raw- I've been drinking hot tea with lemon and some days, taking an antihistamine but it still drains with the antihistamine- I take sudafed over the counter- safe for even pregnant women- and it helps with the headaches. Also, when you're outside, you may want to breath through a scarf wrapped over your mouth--- the air is warmer and less rough to your throat---- good luck to you---- I hope this weather is gone real soon. Happy New Year! i had this last week, it lasted for 2 weeks, i took cold eeze, it is a lozenger that speeds up the duration of the cold. I suffer for few days already before I answer your question. I had bad sore throat, cough & sneeze crazily. You just use the salt water to rinse your mouth about 3 times a day. It really helps to sooth the pain, it can eventually goes way. Now I don't have sore throat, only sneeze once a while. You also need to take Benadryl, it also helps but make sure to drink a lot of water. Today I feel so much better and happier. Thanks for my best friend told me about Benadryl and salt water. Yes always. In winter I cannot go into stores, the racks of cloths make my nose itch, eyes tear and throat close. I go running out in the cold to breath. It could be other things that you're being exposed too. I had the same problem, sore throat once I wake up till I go to bed. It sounds like an allergy problem. You know what I've recently tried, suggested by a doctor of course. A humidifier at night while you sleep. It keeps the air nice and moist,great for the dry throat. There quite inexpensive, You can get one for 20 dollars. Yes, the winter season is a dry. Which adds more to your sore throat, try the humidifier. I highly recommend it! Allergy Sufferer. i have the same problem in a way but during winter (*snow*) i get really sick . i get a cold and cough like every 10 seconds.. i still go to school tho.. and i prolly disrupit my class!! lol well here is a funny thing that has happened to me during a cold.. this Kind!! lol when i was hanging wiht my family & friends i coughed and farted at the same time and then i sneezed & farted..lol sorry it was jsut one of those times you have to tell a funny/embarrasing moment |
